How speech therapy works

A diagnosis or test score tells us part of the story. I begin by understanding each child’s individual profile (their strengths, challenges, communication, learning style and the skills beneath the difficulty) and build therapy around meaningful goals that make a difference beyond the therapy room. Parents are part of the process, so new skills carry over into home and school.
